A few days ago I was in the computer room (also Homer's room) and I heard a noise under my chair. When I checked to see what it was I saw that it was Homer. Somehow, earlier that day, he had escaped from his habitat (a.k.a his plastic pool). This happed not once, but twice in the same day! I have seen him try to get out before, but I never thought he would actually be able to do it. Jeremy and I wanted to see for ourselves how he was able to do this, so we let the camera roll to to try and catch him. Sure enough, he was able to get out again! He was pretty smart to figure out his escape, but as you will see in the video he still hasn't quite mastered the landing. All I have to say is he must have had one heck of a turtle headache after this fall. Luckily he didn't suffer any permanent damage...on the surface anyway.

Finally some live action footage of my favorite turtle! I can't wait to see what he'll do next...
Poor Homer! I'm glad he's okay. He sure is courageous isn't he!
Maybe you should change his name to Evil Kinevil!!
Hey sorry it took me so long to leave you a comment. Funny how I've been checking out your blog as well.
Yes, not sure Brian and Erinne remember that they do in fact have some kiddies there. But I am happy to keep you posted. I see them quite a bit. I actually had Ian and Mags Friday night while they went and saw Golden Compass. What a hoot they can be.
Anyway, love the turtle. I didn't realize how much he's like your first born. Which I think is very cute.
Love the footage. Poor Homer, I am sure he had a mega headache!
Hope things are treating you well in the South!
