So the other day I was making good use of my time watching E!News and to my suprise I found out that the Twilight movie will be coming out in November now instead of December. My reaction..."Ummmm, what"? This sudden change in events puts me in quite the predicament because now I have just lost three extra weeks that I desperately needed to finish reading the series. Actually, if I'm being honest my goal was only to finish the first book before the movie comes out. I realize that this goal seems a bit elementary to the average Joe, but the fact is that I am not your average anyone. Let me make a couple of things very clear right now, I do not have a bookshelf and I do not read for fun. I am however a definite follower, and this book is exactly where the crowd was running. Anyway, so I was wondering, can anyone tell me when I get to the part where I can't put this book down? Right now I am on chapter four and I have to say that I need some serious vampire action to happen, and fast, otherwise I am never going to finish this book before November. Really, it's not that I don't like reading, I just have to have a very strong interest in whatever it is that I am reading. Take for instance that new book sTori Telling by Tori Spelling, now there is a read that I could get into. I mean who wouldn't be dying to know the truth behind why Victoria inherited squat after the passing of her billionaire father Aaron Spelling. Was it because Candy was jealous of Tori's relationship with her father? And another thing, what really went on behind the scenes of 90210? Was Shannon Doherty really the trouble maker that everyone portrayed her to be? I know that some might call a book like Story Telling a trashy read, I however call it reality. Ok, so back to Twilight. Maybe someone could just give me the rundown on the books, like the cliffs notes version or something? I'm pretty sure that's what needs to happen at this point.

Can I borrow sTORI telling when you're finished with it?
I heard Tori's book is really good, but that it doesn't give you the dirt on 90210 that some had hoped. It mostly talks about her childhood, which is kind of a sad one really. Still very interesting.
You really don't need to read Twilight before seeing the movie. I read the book in about 48 hours, I couldn't put it down, but honestly, they have adapted the movie so that it appeals to those who have never read the books.
Maybe you could go backwards? See the movie, then if it appeals to you, read the book!
I personally didn't understand what all the hullaballoo was about when I read Twilight. I didn't get into the series until the 2nd book, which I really liked. Twilight doesn't really get action packed until the big baseball game, about halfway through the book. I agree with Lacy in that you could see the movie before you read the book. Plus, I don't know how you'll find the time to read sTori Telling AND Twilight in before the movie release!!
I think that you are spot on in your assesment of Twilight. I personally am stuck on page 3 of the second book.
By the way, have you ever considered bagging the whole sTori Telling book and just keeping up with her on Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood?

Maybe I shouldn't admit this but I've been watching Tori and Dean since their first show Inn Love where they were running Chateau La Rue, named after the late Mi Mi La Rue (Tori's Pug). Home Sweet hollywood is much better though because we get to watch little Liam grow up before our very eyes...what a precious little munchkin!

You are hilarious. I love the title of your post. I am stuck on the second book and never really got into the series like everyone else. I would like to eventually finish them.
I hate to admit it but I get hooked on Home Sweet Hollywood every once in a while. I can't stand Tori but I can't stop watching it.
I actually had quite the laugh today while I was in line at Barnes and Noble picking up Sara's bday present. The woman in front of me was holding T.S.'s autobio. I immediately thought of you!
